Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the Daily Bible app (also published as Biblia Diaria and Bíblia Diária), provided by START NODE, S.A., Panama City, Panama (“we”). By using the app you accept them. If you do not agree, do not use it.

1. The app

Daily Bible shows you the Bible one verse at a time, with streaks, reminders, reading plans, a widget and passage studies. You can use it without an account. How we handle your data is explained in the Privacy Policy.

2. Free version with ads

Reading the Bible is free and funded by Google AdMob ads. Some features can be unlocked by watching a rewarded ad. You never need to tap an ad to use the app, and you must not do so fraudulently.

3. Premium subscription and 7-day trial

• What it includes: no ads, unlimited studies, reading plans and advanced widget features, as shown on the subscription screen at the time.
• Plans and price: monthly and yearly. The price, currency and taxes are those shown by the store before you confirm the purchase, and may vary by country.
• Free trial: the yearly plan may include 7 free days, once per store account. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the store charges the first period when it ends. We remind you 2 days before you are charged.
• Auto-renewal: the subscription renews at the end of each period for the same term and price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before renewal. If the price changes, the store will notify you and, where required by law, ask for your consent.
• Cancellation: is done in the store, not in the app or by deleting the app. On iPhone: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. On Android: Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. After cancelling you keep Premium until the end of the paid period.
• Refunds: are handled by Apple or Google under their policies; we cannot issue them. If you cancel during the trial, you are not charged. Consumer laws in your country prevail over this point.
• Restore: if you change phones, use Restore purchases in the app settings with the same store account.

4. One-time “Remove ads” purchase

This is a one-time purchase, not a subscription: it removes ads forever for the store account you bought it with, on that platform (iPhone or Android). It does not include the other Premium features. Restore it with Restore purchases. If the app were discontinued, no refund is due beyond what the store or the law provides.

5. Bible texts and licenses

Bible texts are in the public domain or used under free (Creative Commons) licenses, with the attribution each rights holder requests. Works under CC BY-SA are distributed under the same license. We have not modified the text except for formatting.

6. AI-assisted studies

Passage explanations and studies are written with the help of artificial intelligence models and reviewed by us before publication. They may still contain errors or omissions. They are a reading aid: they do not replace Scripture itself, the teaching of your church, or pastoral, medical, psychological or legal advice. If you find a mistake, please write to us.

7. Acceptable use

Use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes. Do not try to copy or bulk-extract its original content, decompile it, bypass payments or ads, or use it in a way that harms the service or others.

8. Intellectual property

The app, its design, brand, studies and other original content belong to START NODE, S.A. or its licensors. We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app. Bible texts are governed by their licenses (section 5).

9. Warranties and liability

We do our best to keep the app working well, but it is provided “as is” and may have interruptions or errors. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for the app in the last 12 months. Nothing here limits your rights under the consumer protection laws of your country.

10. App Store and Google Play

If you download the app from the App Store, Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement also applies; Apple is not responsible for the app or its support. If you download it from Google Play, the Google Play terms also apply.

11. Changes, governing law and contact

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version, and we will tell you in the app about significant changes. They are governed by the laws of the Republic of Panama, without prejudice to the mandatory rules of your country of residence. Contact: soporte@bibliadia.app.
